Oaga Art Resort has a new guiding force behind its smooth guest experiences—Mohamed Azil, who stepped into the role of Director of Operations in December 2024. Known for his people-first approach and over 20 years of hospitality experience, Azil is already bringing fresh energy and focus to the resort.

Azil’s background spans some of the most well-known names in the industry, including Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Four Seasons, and Six Senses. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Suffolk. But beyond the impressive resume, it’s his thoughtful and collaborative style that makes him stand out.

Since joining Oaga, Azil has been actively listening—to guests, to staff, and to the unique rhythm of the resort itself. Whether he’s helping manage busy arrival days or supporting teams behind the scenes, his calm presence has quickly become a steady influence.
