The Presets Set to Light Up the Maldives in 2026

Get ready to trade muddy festival grounds for crystal-clear waters and white sands. In April 2026, Australian electronic icons The Presets will take over Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives for a one-of-a-kind music experience, curated by Music in Paradise.

The duo—Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes—are known for commanding stages at global festivals like Coachella and Splendour in the Grass. But this time, they’re swapping crowds for an intimate setting, offering a week of unforgettable moments from 11–18 April 2026.

Across the week, fans will enjoy three unique live performances. Expect a sunset DJ set on the beach, an exclusive rooftop party at the resort’s Sunset Bar, and a series of up-close-and-personal shows unlike anything The Presets have done before.

With a career spanning over 20 years, The Presets have cemented their status in Australia’s music scene. Their 2008 album Apocalypso went triple platinum and featured the massive hit “My People.” Over the years, they’ve collected multiple ARIA Awards, APRA Songwriter of the Year titles, and earned international acclaim with collaborations like their RAKA EP with Golden Features.

Their 2018 album HI VIZ shot to the top of iTunes and delivered tracks like “Do What You Want” and “Martini,” both earning nominations at major music awards.
