Where Wellness Meets World-Class Sport in the Maldives

Where Wellness Meets World-Class Sport in the Maldives

Sunday 16th of November 2025

The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa will have an inspiring combination of sport high-energy and relaxing wellness between November 15 and 19, 2025. The two high-profile guests who will be welcomed in the resort will be Jackson Withrow, an American tennis professional who has won 10 ATP doubles titles and Dawn Sim or a highly respected yoga instructor in Singapore who practices a holistic approach to wellbeing.

It starts with Withrow being taken to the court on November 15 and 16 to spend two days of exclusive Tennis Experience. Visitors can also attend his interactive Doubles Clinic and he will teach them the teamwork strategies, advanced techniques, and the important court skills. The event ends with a casual autograph signing and question-and-answer session, which provides the guests with a better insight into his life on the ATP Tour as well as his career. On the next day, his Tennis Engagement Activation welcomes the guests to look at his personal training process and then join him on the court to take on friendly challenges, one of which is the opportunity to rally with a world champion.

Between November 18 and 19, the theme changes to wellness with two relaxing sessions being held under the natural beauty of the island, led by Dawn Sim. Her Sunrise Yoga at Kakuni Beach and Sunset Gentle Stretch at Anchorage Beach are relaxing and restorative practices with the help of breath and movements as well as the quiet rhythm of the ocean waves.

Greg Allan, General Manager of Sheraton Maldives, points out that such partnerships indicate the desire of the resort to develop meaningful experiences based on connection and balance. The resort is located in the North Malé Atoll and it is still continuing to redefine travel by bringing together people under the banners of sport and wellness and the spirit of living on the island - indeed a place where the world meets.
