A Season of Connection at SAii Lagoon Maldives

The season of festivity, SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, proposes to immerse the guests in the world of nostalgia, through the aptly titled Retro Tropicana, which is a festivity based on the eternal style of the island and the valuable moments spent on the vacation. Between December 20, 2025 and January 9, 2026, the resort is turned into a colourful tropical oasis and this is where old fashion is mixed with the nature of the Maldives.
The festivities start with the Festive Tree Lighting Ceremony, whereby the participants go to the beach where the first lights are switched on the beach. The light in the background of the sand and the sea is a calming effect to the upcoming events. During the season, themed dinners will be available to the guests, such as the Mediterranean nights and Maldivian dinners under the stars.
Families will have nothing left to do since the activities you engage in day by day are meant to trigger creativity and fun. Children are also likely to remember the holidays as the Treasure Quest, Masquerade, and a Gingerbread House Decorating Competition will be enjoyed by the young guests with a special visit by Santa.
During the lead to the Christmas season, the resort will have Retro Eve: A Tropicana Christmas, which features the fun festive flavours, live music, and vibrant tropical atmosphere. It goes on to the Christmas Day with a bountiful Christmas Dinner Buffet on the beachfront, a selection of seasonal favourites with an island touch.
Guests may celebrate the new year by attending the Retro Tropicana New Year Eve Gala Dinner and Countdown which will introduce them to fine food, lantern lighting, and sea breezes. There are also festive activities like the Roots of Hope which is a tree-planting event that benefits nature and community and a spirited Padel Tennis Tournament.
