Meeru Island Resort is prepping up to kick things off on April 1 for Easter celebrations on their beautiful island. In love with serving sweet treats surprises, Meeru makes sure that they bring the spark of little moments of joy into every celebration they plan for their guests. And this holiday seasons, you can expect fun-tastic and egg-cellent lineup of activities that will keep the little ones overjoyed for a good week.

Celebrations will kick off on April 1 with Champagne and caviar at the amazing Asian Wok followed by a tempting dinner and soft live music. In the meantime, over at the Uthuru Bar, house DJ will be mixing things up at sundown hour in sync with the many colors lighting up a signature Maldivian sunset sky. Young guests won’t be left alone as they can join in for some egg and coconut painting – because things are tropical here – at the Dhoni Bar.

More fun and food involved, the highlight of the following day’s activities will be a vibrant Maldivian Cultural Show held at Kakuni Bar at 9 p.m. immerse yourself in the stories from around the archipelago and get to know a little bit more about paradise on earth.

The best time to celebrate a holiday is always the eve of the day and Meeru knows that! On Easter Eve, get the kids galmed up at Hair Braiding and Nail Salon by Dhuniye Spa before heading over to the Kakuni bar for a night endless DJ for the young and young at heart. Don’t worry about a hangover, because Easter brunch the next morning includes a special ‘Hangover Cure’.

For the rest of the holidays, more adventure is packed into egg hunts, mini-Olympics and dinner nights keeping you at the edge of a good time. Meeru’s new Starlight Cinema experience is also launching this holiday for guests – popcorns, movie, starlit sky above and sand below your feet.
