Shaufa – SCA Foreign Service National of the Year

Shaufa Saeed has been awarded SCA's Foreign Service National of the Year.

A tweet made by State the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs stated that ‘Her outstanding reporting and language skills strengthened the US-#Maldives relationship. We are glad to recognize her efforts with this award and are lucky to have her on the team.’

SCA is an agency within the United States Department of State responsible for the U.S. government's relations with countries in the South and Central Asian region.

It’s an honor that the prestigious award was received by a Maldivian.
