Planhotel Maldives Promotes Frederic Perrin To The Position of Regional General Manager

The esteemed Planhotel hospitality group has announced the promotion of Frederic Perrin to the role of Regional General Manager of both Diamonds and Sandies resort properties in the Maldives. Under his extended role, Frederic Perrin will oversee Diamonds Athuruga, Diamonds Thudufushi and Sandies Bathala Beach & Water Villas – three iconic properties of the group set in the stunning Ari Atoll. Before his promotion, Frederic was serving as the General Manager of Diamonds Athuruga.

Frederic brings over three years of experience in the luxury travel and hospitality industry to his new position and is deemed a global citizen and expert in the luxury tourism scene. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to the successful development, opening and management of five-star hotels and has held an excellent track record of ensuring effective organization. He is also an outstanding team player and builder with an in-depth understanding of cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.

During the span of his stellar career, Frederic has played an instrumental role in reimagining and transforming multi-million-dollar luxury travel destinations by delivering innovative new concepts and experiences to properties. In addition to this, he is renowned for utilizing a collaborative-based approach to drive performance, employee engagement and employee wellness under his leadership. Now, he steps into taking a new challenge in the Indian Ocean destination as Regional General Manager.
