Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa has invited travellers to enter the summer mindset through its returning Au Soleil programme which will debut a new Rosé Sorbet offering created in collaboration with social media’s favourite chef and tastemaker – Meredith Hayden of Wishbone Kitchen. The Rosé infused sorbet is a nod towards the brand’s supreme invitation for travellers to chase endless summers and craft everlasting memories, including spending away lazy, Rosé-filled afternoons.

The perfect scoop-and-sip combo was inspired by the preciousness associated with caviar ice baths and the cocktail sidecar and comes served in a custom-designed Sorbet Sidecar. A glass cone - closely resembling a classic ice cream cone - holds the sorbet scoop intact and the arrangement sits atop a stemless wine glass filled with rosé. The glassware duo is presented on a sunshine-coloured tray with an Au Soleil wooden cradle designed to hold the cone while guests sip their rosé.

Available at the resort beginning from July onwards, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa will enable guests to soak in the summer season through various opportunities both on and off the property.

- From July 10 – October 31, the resort will offer a special Au Soleil stay package that includes daily breakfast and a complimentary Le Scoop by Le Méridien gelato or sorbet.

- Guests can also bring a contemporary spin to classic games by making use of the giant chess board featured in The Hub while reminiscing about long summers spent outdoors playing games.

- The resort boasts a distinctive on-property design aesthetic that embodies the spirit of Au Soleil and the playful glamour of endless European summers for travellers all year round.

- Over at Le Scoop by Le Méridien, a variety of flavours of gelato and sorbet are prepared using the freshest ingredients harvested from the resort’s own greenhouse. Guests can channel the energy of sunny summers on the French Riviera by tantalizing the tastebuds with a classic Mint & Choco Chip or Basil ice cream and sampling the locally grown Papaya & Lime Sorbet.
