Kurumba Maldives Recognized As Indian Ocean’s Leading Family Resort For The Third Time In A Row!

Maldives first-ever resort, Kurumba Maldives revealed that they have been selected as Indian Ocean’s Leading Family Resort at the World Travel Awards 2022, making a hat-trick with the title this time around.

Incepted in 1993, the World Travel Awards are ranked among the most highly acclaimed and prestigious awards in the international travel industry. Spanning multiple areas of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, the Awards distinguishes the excellence of establishments and hoteliers around the world. It is now deemed as the most coveted and most sought-after hallmark of industry excellence in the global travel trade.

This win for Kurumba Maldives is especially memorable for the resort as it is the third consecutive time the resort has received the title. As Maldives celebrates 50 years of Tourism in the destination, it is important to note that Kurumba Maldives was the first island resort to open in the country back in 1972.
