How Major Airlines are Reacting to Coronavirus

Amidst the coronavirus outbreak, airlines are suffering from low demands. To give their customers reassurance and make them less nervous when travelling, many international airlines have increased flexibility, allowing customers to make changes to travel bookings.

United Airlines

You not only have the option to change your itinerary without a fee; you can also cancel it and receive a credit that you can use toward any booking within a year of when you originally bought the ticket.

Emirates

The airline introduced waiver policy for all booked tickets issued on or from 7 March until 31 March 2020, allowing customers across its network the choice of changing their travel dates without change and reissuance fees.

Qatar Airways

Passengers that make bookings up to 30 June 2020 will be offered the flexibility to change their travel plans free of charge by altering the dates of their booking or exchanging their ticket for a travel voucher valid for one year. Both changes apply up to three days prior to departure.
