Growing Talent: Sun Siyam Announces Major Leadership Moves Across Its Portfolio

Sun Siyam has initiated a wave of importance in its appointments and promotions in its properties and it is a very good step towards its global growth strategy. It remains focused on developing internal talent and simultaneously adopt new skills in the company.

The important fact is that Silvia Collepardi is appointed as Sales Representative of Spain, Portugal and Nordics. With an experience in the luxury hospitality sector of more than 15 years, she has a background of top management sales and marketing roles and will assist Sun Siyam to expand in the key European markets.

Some of the developments in leadership were announced in the Maldives as well. Mohamed Najahhas currently serves as the Resort Manager in the Sun Siyam Iru Veli where he has been working on the group on major projects. A people-oriented leader Shimhad Ali, comes to the same resort as the Director of Human Resources.

In Siyam World example, Adam Afsan is employed as the new Director of Sales and Marketing where he manages a bigger commercial portfolio after spending the last couple of years with the major resort brands. Swati Dogra is also promoted to the post of Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing of Iru Veli after excelling in some of the Sun siyam properties.

Further promotions at Sun Siyam Olhuveli include the fact that Moosa Ahmed has been promoted to the position of Assistant Director Sales and Marketing and Jiayi Deng (Denise) to the position of Sales and Marketing Manager since they both have a long history within the market and have been known to establish partnerships. The corporate office has been assigned Eenas Ahmed as a Contracting Manager, and this will strengthen the global relationship of the group.

As stated by CEO Deepak Booneady, such promotions are among the moves by Sun Siyam to invest in local talent and receptiveness to global experience so as to strengthen the advancing company presence.
