Cocoon Maldives Promotes Abdulla Anish to Executive Role

Cocoon Maldives has announced the promotion of Abdulla Anish to Executive Assistant Manager, marking a significant milestone in his long standing career with The Cocoon Collection.

Born in Addu City, Maradhoo, Anish began his hospitality journey as a receptionist during the pre-opening of The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives. Since then, he has steadily moved up the ladder, taking on roles such as Guest Relations Officer, butler, island host, Front Office Manager, and most recently, Operations Manager. Each role has added to his hands-on experience and deep understanding of resort operations.

Now in his new position, Anish will oversee daily operations at Cocoon Maldives with a focus on enhancing guest service, supporting team development, and contributing to the resort’s ongoing success. Known for his strong work ethic and approachable leadership style, Anish’s appointment is a reflection of The Cocoon Collection’s commitment to nurturing talent from within.

A strong believer in personal and professional growth, Anish is currently pursuing his MBA at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies. He is also passionate about sustainability and marine life conservation, values that align closely with the resort’s focus on responsible tourism.

Anish shared that his love for hospitality stems from connecting with people of different cultures and working to raise service standards. His approach to leadership encourages a growth mindset within the team, creating an environment where learning and improvement are always in focus.
