Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives recently turned up the heat with a Tex-Mex night that transformed its serene tropical setting into a lively celebration of Mexican-inspired flavours. Held at the resort’s Tex Mex restaurant, the event offered guests a culinary journey rich in bold spices, fresh ingredients, and festive flair.

The evening began with a zesty Chicken Caesar Cutlet—marinated chicken breast paired with avocado, feta, and charred lettuce. Guests then enjoyed a vibrant Taco Salad, topped with seafood, guacamole, and sour cream, followed by a comforting Mexican Chicken Soup with tortilla chips and shredded cheese.

Hearty mains brought a smoky touch to the evening, including the indulgent Sourdough King Beef Burger and the crowd-favourite Beef Birria Tacos. For those looking to share, the Meaty Platter offered grilled sirloin, ribs, and chicken served with tortillas, dips, and sauces. Seafood lovers were treated to the Seafood Platito, featuring calamari, prawn tostadas, mussels, and crab.

Classic favourites like the Grilled Sirloin Steak with cilantro lime butter and customisable Fajita Plates brought the night to a satisfying close.

“We wanted to create an experience that brings people together through food,” said General Manager Marlon Robert. “It was about flavour, fun, and shared moments.”
