Chef Christian Wiedenmann Returns To Home Away From Home, Komandoo Island Resort & Spa!

After spending some time at Komandoo Island Resort & Spa, Chef Christian Wiednmann returned to Germany to continue his culinary journey at homeland in 2013. After 8-long years, he is back at the resort as its new Executive Chef.

In 1994, Chef Christian successfully completed his Hotel Caravelle Diploma as Certified Chef in Culinary Arts. Now, he hails with over three decades of culinary experience captured in an array of different countries including Ireland, the Philippines and the Maldives, where he served in various positions at upscale hotels, island resorts, and several Michelin-star restaurants.

Chef Christian’s follows the fine-tuned tradition of using only the finest local produce and the freshest ingredients. His creatively-prepared dishes and unique interpretations of local and international recipes will set the bars high at Komandoo as in his current role he will take charge of curating menus in addition to culinary operations in all the outlets of resorts. Guests can also savor Chef Christian and his team's culinary offerings through beach dinners, in-villa dining and other destination-inspired culinary experiences offered exclusively at Komandoo.
