Holiday inn Resort Kandooma Maldives along with Music in Paradise has confirmed that acclaimed Australian singer and songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke will perform at the resort in 3-10 October 2026. As a singer with strong voice and unique artistry Kate has been able to achieve a wonderful career in pop, folk and opera that was backed by her classical education at Queensland conservatoire.
Her success has been in chart-topping solo, being a composer of Muriel Wedding The Musical with Keir Nuttall, and co-creator of the award-winning opera The Rabbits with Iain Grandage and Lally Katz. In 2019, she was internationally known when she represented Australia in Eurovision, singing Zero Gravity and in 2020 when she became a coach on The Voice Australia.
Kandooma will host three small performers on sunset concerts, with a guest capacity of 200 people each, where she will be able to perform the most popular songs, new interpretations and moments of special moments on the stage, all in combination with the background of the island.
The General Manager Mark Eletr, conveyed the enthusiasm of the resort, saying that the talent of Kate, both in her voice and her appearance on the stage, will leave people with a lasting memory of the show.
The Ultimate Experience Package is now being sold at A2980 per person twin share which includes seven nights stay in an Overwater Villa, entry to all three shows plus a meet and greet, welcome gifts, transportation, breakfast daily, yoga and snorkelling as well as dolphin cruise among others. Early-bird packages begin with A$3,490 per head.
