Atmosphere Core Ventures into Nepal with Aarunya Nature Resort

Atmosphere Core has announced its entry into Nepal with the upcoming Aarunya Nature Resort by Atmosphere, set to open in the fourth quarter of 2025. Located in the peaceful town of Banepa, just outside Kathmandu, the resort marks the group’s first property in Nepal and a key step in its international expansion.
The resort is being developed in partnership with Lost Horizon Jungle Resort Limited and aligns with Atmosphere Core’s strategy to grow within the ‘inspiring destinations’ segment. Perched at 5,000 feet above sea level, the 25-acre property offers guests panoramic views of the Himalayas and, on clear days, even glimpses of Mount Everest. With its quiet hills and spiritual trails, Banepa provides an ideal setting for travellers seeking slower, more meaningful journeys.

The resort will feature 51 cottages and suites, each designed to showcase the surrounding landscape through large windows and earthy, elegant interiors. Dining will include an all-day restaurant with open-air seating and a specialty restaurant focused on Asian and Nepali cuisine.
Wellness will play a key role at the resort, with a sanctuary by ELE|NA, Atmosphere Core’s award-winning wellness brand. Guests can enjoy traditional therapies and modern treatments in a setting designed for peace and reflection. Additional offerings include nature walks, cultural explorations, a swimming pool, and a kids’ club, catering to solo travellers, couples, and families alike.
