Alila Kothaifaru Maldives Celebrates a Season of Giving

Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is also encouraging guests to have a kind and meaningful celebration in this festive season. The holiday program incorporated in the resort combines the fun activities with the consideration of the local community and its dedication in conserving the natural environment in the island.

The resort, in its program, the World of Care, aims at the betterment of facilities in R. Maduvvari School and the conservation of the surrounding marine environment. All the festive activities are directly related to these efforts.

Between 25 December 2025 and 7 January 2026, the guests may take part in the Christmas Charity Surprise Tree whereby any gift purchased is given to the charitable projects of the resort. On the 27 th, December, visitors are able to contribute to the restoration of the reef by a coral planting experience organized by Euro Divers.

On 28 December 2025 and 4 January 2026, food enthusiasts will be able to visit the Boat to Table BBQ, where fresh seafood is provided by local fishermen. Active visitors will be able to participate in the Charity Kayak Race on the 30 December 2025 and the 5 January 2026 and in the Charity Island Fun Run on 2 January 2026 to support children at the local pre-school.
